PUTTING THINGS TOGETHER WHICH DONT GO TOGETHER
- All Our Collections
- “The wish to seize the present and pin it down – to mount it as it were, like a butterfly in a case –is doomed to failure. Actuality forever changes. In healthy persons the feeling of actuality is steady and continuous but, like the view from a train window, the scenery is always different.”
We put together a collection of images, video or sound in response to the previous Collection and in it's own right. Each Collection results in a piece of highly specific research in an area that has never existed before, born out of contrasting subject matter. The Collections take us on a journey up up and away out of the apathy, comfort and dependency on the transitory 'now'.
We teach each other and ourselves, and in time, someone else.
